Lahsun Sev/Garlic Sev Recipe

Lahsun Sev/ Garlic Sev is a spicy and delicious snack for the Tea time. Lahsuni sev is a very popular snack in the state of Madhya Pradesh. I am a rajasthani so I always prefer such types of sev snacks including: aloo bhujia, lahsuni sev, masala sev and other such snacks.
This sev tastes delicious every time you eat, while it is with tea, dinner or in your free time. Now we have enough of this flavorful dish,
Let’s take a step towards the recipe of Lahsun Sev/Garlic Sev.

Lahsun Sev/Garlic Sev Recipe
Ingredients of Garlic Sev:
10-12 Garlic Clove
2 TSP Cumin Seeds
2 TSP Ajwain
2 TSP Red Chilli Powder
1/4 TSP Turmeric Powder
250gm Flour
2 TSP hot Oil
Recipe of Lahsun Sev:
- Take a mixer grinder and add 10-12 garlic cloves,
- Then add cumin seeds, ajwain, red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix them in the mixer,
- Seperate all the juice from the masala with the help of water and take the masala water in the bowl,
- Add 2 TSP hot oil with flour in the bowl,
- Add the grind masala water in the bowl with flour, oil and add salt according to your taste,
- Add water and Mix them well for around 5-7 minutes and make a medium tight mixture/smooth dough,
- Take all the medium tight mixture/smooth dough in the sev making machine,
- Now take a pan and put oil in the medium flame and let it hot enough for 5-7 minutes,
- Hold the sev machine over the pan and slowly a thin layer of sev will come out and fall into the oil, slowly moving the machine in circular motion over the pan,
- As you complete and reverse the procedure as we do in the Jalebi process,
- Fry/cook the sev properly from both sides and tae it out in tissue or oil soak paper, so the excess oil will be stuck in the paper,
- Now let it cool for some time and your tasty and easy to make Lahsun sev/ Garlic Sev is ready to serve.
Pro Tips
- Fry it more for a crispy experience.
Keep the dough/mixture smooth.
Fry sev on medium flame.
Store it in a dry vessel after it gets cool, otherwise the crispness will go away. - Serving:
Serve the lahsun sev with the green chutney or onion salad.
It can be served for dinner, tea time, lunch or free time.
